Those old tools, bevel etc where you have those menus to adjust the numerical values, and you click off accidentally but tool is still active and it won't enter your new mm value, ignores it, and you have to start again. Add your loops with the button that allows the modifier stack to retain the subdivision after a turbo smooth maybe but I always prefer to add loops on a polygonal mesh, I only tweak a SD mesh. Graphite tools, yes much better, swift loop for example, but this still sucks trying to read the polgonal mesh with that ugly cage overlay. Then you have to find the darn tool, which is scroll, scroll, scroll away down the list expand the lists, find the tool. Ha, to say that 3DS Max is great just as easy as LW, press 1,2,3,4 etc for hot keys, and away you go, that's just the start of it!!! I don't doubt or need a video to trust you, I am sure you don't try to give us hopes to upgrade, but Lightwave is in your heart so you typed every word with your heart and soul. I hope you get to show something soon on a video, I must say I have been a fan of yours since you started working on Lightwave, I had trust you would take this software and make it rise from the ashes like a phoenix. but sometimes words can show more passion than a video.īecause you have more time to plan and express yourself without making a 10 minutes long video of your face speaking with some images from time to time. you could easily put a video, show people what you got and stuff. the best way to explain something and make the introduction to the development process blog, it's by using text.
